From the Bay of Gocek we pass to Fethiye.

Provincial seaport Fethtiye is situated near the bay, framed by piny woods. It lies right in the corner of gulf of Fethtiye. Famous for its well-protected boat’s harbors, bright animated markets and bazaars, numerous splendid beaches and bays, mysterious islands — Fethtiye (ancient Lykian city Termesos) has become a real tourist center. One of the most famous places of interest of this zone is a sand lagoon Olydeniz. It is situated in 16 km from Fethtiye. It’s really a paradise on the earth for those, who wish to sink into history and mythology. This city-resort has boat’s harbor and beautiful bay, surrounded by numerous islands.

You can berth in Kinik (65 km from Fethiye), and have an excursion to ruins of Xanthos (ancient capital of Lycian) — artistic merit, natural beauty and peace will turn you for a while in ancient times, you can feel spirit of history.

Here you can find an Oracle (saint place) called Lycian Letoon. 3 ancient churches sanctified in honor of Deities of ancient mycology (Leto, Apollo и Artemis) are always open for visitors. According to the legend and ancient myths. Apollo was born in Patara (main seaport of ancient capital of Lycia), in the south from Letoon and Xanthos. This is a place where the Idols were born…

22 km of crystal clean sand beach — so you’ll be in perfect conditions to practice some water sports and games.

Going to the east you will arrive to Kalkan — a splendid small village with a nice bay. Crossing narrow streets, numerous shops with hand-made souvenirs, you will come to a small boat’s harbor.
