Annual International Boat Show in Fort Lauderdale (44th Boat Show).

The motto of this exhibition is «One world – one show». All the biggest shipyards, that produce boats, yachts and accessories for them have been presented here. «Price» of shows is much more than milliard of dollars. It is really the world’s main place for meeting for lovers of super yachts.

Show was 3 million foot square large (on the earth and on water). Here have been presented boats of every leading producer (including small ones, sport fishing boats, cruisers, special cruisers, motor yachts, bow riders, catamarans, trailers, inflatable ones, canoes, extraordinary yachts).

This year the quantity of super yachts incredibly increased. Presented by Lurssen Yachts and Moran Yacht & Ship Company - Capri (LOA: 192 foot), the «queen of the show» has 2 saloons with dining rooms, leisure cabin, and gym on the deck. 4 cabins on lower deck and children’s cabin. One of distinguishing features of the yacht is the presence of professional label.

Debutant of this show is 177 foot Perfect Prescription, built by the Company Oceanfast. Yacht can take on board 10 guests and 12 persons of crew. There are 2 video halls, cantina, 12 plasma monitors.

121 foot Crescent Lady, built by the Company Crescent Custom Yachts, has unusual layout with 5 cabins. The dining room is spacious and luxurious (9 foot dome liked ceiling there). Curved stairs comes to hall and through this hall you can arrive to the master’s cabin and 3 guest’s cabins.

Benetti Shipyard has presented 100-foot yacht called Tradition. The yacht has 3 decks: lower deck, main deck and upper deck in the stern and fly bridge with platform for sun bathing. Sofas and settees are everywhere, dining room with an oval table (for 10 persons). Television with big flat screen is situated in the cabinet and in the corner there is a bar, where you can relax and take a drink.

Have been also presented 142` «Chevy Toy» from Triniti, 112` «Top Times» from Burger, 80` Lazarra, 112` Ferretti and many others.

The leading producers have presented not only new powerful engines, but also generators and conditioners for small, middle boats and super yachts.

The yacht Leonardo (98-foot) produced by Azimut Company is really splendid sport high-speed yacht. Engines 2,000 hp allow to reach the speed of 32 knots. The tent under the steering wheel can be completely open, so the captain remains on the open area. Beautiful, light and elegant interior chairs with column made of steel. On the stern part of boat there is a panoramic window.

Have been presented the new models of navigational equipment, computerized equipment for safety on board, satellite systems, cameras, depth finders, auto pilots, safety systems, radar and stereo equipment, navigational program hardware and other accessories.

The new model was presented by the companies Fastfind and Fastfind Plus and McMurdo Pains Wessex. It is handheld indicator of location and satellite technology 400 MC. They are used by the American coastal command. These accessories have been created to give the highest chance on finding something on the earth, in sea or in the air.
American producers begin to enter on the European yachting market. And there are a lot of proofs of this fact.

The 24-meters elegant beauty, motor yacht Hatteras, admired everyone. Palmer Johnson, which participated with PJ 120, was also greeted by applauses for the elegance of lines and forms of the hull.

Marquis 59 from Carver Yachts is also a boat of great beauty and comfort.
Viking Yachts has exhibited in Fort Lauderdale a big fleet, among of other boats – beautiful and impressive Convertible 56.

In the center of visitor’s of the boat show attention was the new Bertram 630, - 20-meters yacht, with 3 possible modifications.

One more impressive American boat - Grand Banks 58, model Eastbay,s flagship. Derector 50/50 – boat for fishing lobsters, made for real lovers of fishing and professionals. This boat was built on Mamronec shipyard, and it’s real treasure, that combines the newest technologies and traditions.

As for traditions: company Hinckley, known for its boats for picnics, has presented the new model - Talaria 44 Flying bridge and announced the starting of the new model line: 12-13 meter cruisers and boats for fishing.

Actually there are a lot of interesting events on the international yachting market. The companies collaborate and unit in new mutually beneficial alliances. For example, Ferretti Group and Marine Max (broker of New York stock exchange) have concluded the treaty for the right of distributing sales of all the yachts of the company in all 65 saloons in America.
