The travel to the Seychelles Islands

Carriages with bullocks and bicycles – are still the only kind of transport in this island. Picturesque landscapes are completed by granite rocks, which are rising from white sandy beaches. We landed in the coast to have a walk on the spacious beaches. Savage nature. In the islands, particularly in Cousin and Aride, there are about 81 kind of plants, one of the rarest colonies of birds in the world and giant land turtles. The preservation of the surrounded environment is taken in big consideration in this area, exactly for this reason there were created few national parks and reserves: 4 national parks has been created, including the national park St Anne Marine which is not far from Victoria Harbour.

After lunch, we opted for navigating travel. We discovered amazing coral reefs, whimsical multicolor sponges. We had the opportunity to see a giant sea skate. In this island, there are few well-equipped diving centers. The island La Digue is considered as the most comfortable place of the Seychelles. The life there didn’t change at all for the last 200 years – Absolutely clean sea bottom, clear water, wild plantation. The only way of transport there is carriages with bullocks. The best place of the archipelago for landscape picturing, which is considered the visit card of the island, is the bay of Source d’Argent, the cape of Turci, and the area of bays Petit Harry, Grande Anse, Anse Coco, Reunion, Nord, Palate, Goulette, Grosse Roche, Banane and Fourmis gives a splendid opportunity both for calm rest and contemplating of majestic rock landscapes.

At La Pace, the capital of the island, are located a huge amount of old Creole wooden houses, and the only (but modern enough) big hotel in the island “La Digue Loge’, built in accordance with the local colorists and does even have its own diving center. 

We navigated 4 kilometers more to the north of La Digue and we found ourselves at the coasts of the island Felicite admiring the local verdure.

On half way from Victoria to Glaude Port, in the king bay is situated the King garden Le Jardin Du Roi, the studio of the famous painter Michael Adams located in rich undergrowths of the bay of the Azure Cours, and also the splendid National Sea Park St Anne between the islands Mahé, Deered, Long, Medium and Round. The island Silhouette, laying just in front of the beach Beau Vallon, is considered as the owner of the beautiest equatorial forest in all the Indian Sea – the island doesn’t count much residents, but all the conditions for the tourists were created there (Silhouette is the test island of the company of the development of the islands) even if not so big, the local “Loge” is perfectly equipped.
